Rick is an engineer and his wife Michelle  a budding decorator, and together they have designed, updated and restored all three buildings and the landscaping of this compound which was the last available parcel of the original Colorado Ranch in Divide. This compound has been a labor of love for almost 20 years by its owners and each building has been totally updated.   Its development was born when the Colorado Springs based owners realized they both truly loved nature, wildlife and especially the mountains. After many house shopping adventures in the area, they found and purchased this property with acreage.

The concept for each living space, in some cases multiple rooms consolidated into one, was planned by Michelle in a effort to create usable areas.   The team then, sometimes with the help of contractors took each raw concept and turned it into well engineered and constructed living space.

Some examples of this can be found in the gourmet kitchen, acoustically engineered theater room, mother in law suite, or the cabin.
